Doing Business with Peterson-Schriever Garrison Small Business Office (SBO)
The P-S GAR Small Business Office has a 3-Step process to allow interested companies to obtain more information on available opportunities. Ideally, following these steps in sequence will result in best results, but following the steps does NOT have to be accomplished in any specific order.
STEP 1. (INDUSTRY BRIEF) Each month, representatives from DoD, State and local agencies, in alliance with the Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), conduct a Government to Business Outreach (G2B). Agency representatives provide briefings on the agency's mission and upcoming business opportunities. In addition, Prime Contractors may brief on subcontracting and teaming opportunities in the local area. Event is offered with either in-person or virtual sessions.
STEP 2. (INFORMATION EXCHANGE) Attendees at the outreach event receive an e-mail from the SBO to provide additional information about process and procedures. Vendor reviews contracts list, identifies potential business matches and provides capability statement to the SBO if interested in meeting.
STEP 3. (DIRECT OPPORTUNITIES) A meeting with the SBO when company has identified an opportunity they are interested in that matches company capabilities and would like to discuss further. Meeting can be face-to-face in the SBO, conducted telephonically or through social media resources.
