DoD Memo for Use of Masks and Other Public Health Measures - Feb. 4, 2021
Current P-S GAR Public Health Directive (Mar. 1, 2021)
Beginning Feb. 9, 2021, Security Forces may conduct a hands-on check of base access credentials while scanning DBIDS cards, in addition to asking drivers or passengers to remove face coverings or helmets for physical identification verification. These changes do not affect the current Trusted Traveler Program beyond the entry controller’s physical inspection of all passenger identification. This procedural adjustment may cause slightly longer processing time for vehicles entering the installations. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Dependent ID Extension Memo
Due to COVID-19, the policy for dependent IDs has changed and allows dependents to use their IDs through June 30, even if they are expired. There may be some agencies that still request these members with expired IDs to have a copy of the policy memo included with their expired ID as ‘proof’ that their ID is still valid. Please click here to locate and print a copy of the memorandum.
Trusted Traveler Program
The TTP was reinstated on June 12, 2020. Any DOD ID card holder is authorized to escort personnel onto the installation as long as the guest has a valid photo ID. For questions, please call 719-556-6660.
