First Sergeants and their family members gathered Nov. 23, 2020 at the Peterson Air Force Base Chapel to assemble turkey baskets for Airmen and Space professionals assigned to Peterson and Schriever AFB. Every year the Commissary and other local vendors donate Thanksgiving products to the First Sergeant’s Council to distribute to members of the Air and Space Forces assigned to the bases.“COVID-19 has been really hard for some of our members both financially as well as being able to travel home for the holidays. So whatever kinds of acts we as First Sergeants can do to take some stress off our members, we will,” said Senior Master Sgt. Gerald Morey, 21st Medical Group First Sergeant.
