A CH-47 Chinook assigned to Fort Carson’s 4th Infantry Division did a site survey test landing at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station Nov. 5, 2021. The 21st Logistic Readiness Squadron and the 21st Security Forces Squadron coordinated the first CH-47 helicopter landing which signified full certification of the helipad to support all helicopters in DoD inventory.
